Deep Explorations On Artistic Characteristics And Cultural Connotations Of “Yukangning” Embroidery

Kang Ning has been recognized as the first nation-level inheritor of Shu Embroidery in Chongqing-one intangible cultural heritage project.As one of the representatives of Shu Embroidery,her works are endowed with the characteristics of of Shu Embroidery,such as rigorous & exquisite stitches,elegant & comely colors and vivid & realistic picture effects.In the process of double-sided embroidery with the same shape and different color and different shape and different color,her unique "Double-buckle" technique was used to form unique artistic characteristics and cultural connotation in the use of color,pattern and pattern,presenting the unique visual effect of double-sided and different color,which was praised as "the unique art of Shu embroidery" by the domestic embroidery industry.Mainly using the artistic method and anthropology method,analyzing the artistic characteristics of Kang Ning Embroidery,as well as interviewing with peer inheritors,the author deeply explored the cultural significance and aesthetic values behind her works.This paper firstly expounded the embroidery-art course of Kang Ning,as well as the marriage of Kang Ning and Shu Embroidery,made a series of analyses upon the differences between the embroidery works of Kang Ning in her early stage and the counterparts in her later stage,as well as reflected the revolution of Shu Embroidery Art.Secondly,it further analyzed the artistic characteristics of works of Kang Ning Embroidery in composition,modeling,color,technique and others.Finally,it dug deeply into the cultural connotations and aesthetic characteristics behind her works full of oriental aesthetic implications and her thoughts upon life attitude and human nature,as well as her life ideals therein.Therefore,such explorations upon Kang Ning Embroidery achieved important theoretical values for further understanding,inheriting and developing Shu Embroider,as well as played a key role in inheriting and carrying forward the excellent traditional cultures of the Chinese nation in near future.
