The Research Of The Craftwork And The Artistic Forms Of The Embroidery Shoes Of Jianghua Yao Nationality

The Yao,known as the nation of “sewing hands”,shows great skills in weaving and embroidering and has great affection for colors.With superb skills and distinctive aesthetic,they have created unique colorful embroidery works of art.Embroidery shoes as one of the representatives of national craft embody thousand years of the wisdom of the Yao people and have been regarded as the carrier of production life,folk culture,religious belief.Jianghua,the only autonomous county of Yao people in the Province of Hunan,has a long history and rich national culture.Today,Yao people in this area still inherit the Yao embroidery shoe craft.This paper further studies the traditional embroidery shoes of Jianghua Yao Autonomous County,using field investigation method;tries to study its technological characteristics and forms of art from various perspective such as design,art,and anthropology;detailedly analyzes its technological process and artistic characteristics;and meticulously presents the distinctive characteristic of Yao embroidery shoes.First of all,this paper summerizes the living environment and regional distribution of Yao embroidery shoes,and gives a detailed introduction on its technologicalcharacteristics,laying a theoretical foundation for the protection and development of embroidery shoes.Secondly,this paper gives a detailed analysis on the pattern,the most distinctive part of embroidered shoes,attempting to form a good understanding on the inherent depth of embroidery shoes pattern through the colorful surface space,so as to explore its aesthetic rules and characteristics,induce its pattern characteristics,and compare its regional differences between Pingdi Yao and Trans-Mountain Yao from the aspects of shape,pattern and process.Finally,this paper discusses the cultural connotation of Yao embroidered shoes art from social function,religious belief,and the inheritance and protection of Yao embroidered shoes art,showing the unique charm of Yao embroidery shoes culture,and providing basis and ideas for the inheritance,protection and development of Yao culture.
