Research On Historical Evolution And Artistic Characteristics Of Wool And Linen Embroidery In Shaanxi Luochuan

Shaanxi embroidery craft has a long history,and Luochuan wool and linen embroidery is just a new variety based on it.Luochuan embroidery works are excellent folk arts in the region of Yan'an,reflecting the real life of local people and with rarity and typicality in the whole northern Shaanxi area and even all over the country.This research is conducted mainly through literaure material reference and field investigation,making analyisis and summary of the wool and linen embroidery of Shaanxi Luochuan in terms of historical revolution,cultural connotation and artisic features.The whole paper is divided into five parts.Part one mainly analyzes the historical revolution of the wool and linen embroidery in Luochuan,focusing on the history of Shaanxi embroidery,the origin of Luochuan wool and linen embroiderery and its inheritance lineage and so on.In part two,the paper makes research on the patterns continuation of the traditional culture,local folk culture and their pursue of new life reflected in the works of the wool and linen embroidery of Luochuan.Part three analyzes the artistic features of the wool and linen embroidery of Shaanxi Luochuan in three aspect: pattern shape,composition and color.In part four,the unique techniques and acupuncture features of the wool and linen embroidery of Shaanxi Luochuan are analyzed and summarized.Part five focuses on the creative design practice of the wool and linen embroidered in Luochuan,hoping to provide clues for the development and innovation of Luochuan wool and linen embroidered soft furnishings in modern home design.This research is conducted through the systematic sorting of the different aspects of the wool and linen embroidery of Shaanxi Luochuan with the hope of improving the theoretical system of Shaanxi embroidery and making certain contribution for the wool and linen embroidery in Luochuan Arts.
