Research On Management Strategy Of U Company's Product Production Cycle Reduction

With the continuous development of economic globalization and the advancement of science and technology,the external environment faced by enterprises has undergone drastic changes.It is especially important for enterprises to carry out internal improvements to adapt to changes in the external environment.As customers' requirements for product types,quantities,and delivery times become higher and higher,product Production Cycle Time management becomes an increasingly important part of supply chain management.For traditional manufacturing companies,it is very important for enterprises to deliver the correct quantity,variety and quality products on time to meet the certain service level.This paper focuses on the problem of long production cycle time of U company,and adopts lean production and value stream management(VSM)theory to reduce production cycle time.Through the method of VSM,drawing the current value stream map,then the production process can be analyzed.During the process,no-value-added part can be found,and the optimization strategies and measures suitable for the production cycle time are formulated to improve.The strategies and measures include:optimization of production plan,optimization of production mode layout,SMED,improvement of OEE,electroplating supplier management optimization,etc.Through the above measures,the company achieves continuous cycle improvement.Through the improvements above,the production cycle time of U's main customer products decreased,the on-time delivery rate increased,and the Production Cycle Time management achieved great improvements.
