This article is based on the inspiration of the artistic characteristics of the zodiacal zod iac in the creation.As a unique folk art form,paper-cut has a unique sense of form.The ch aracteristics of paper-cut make the art work most sensitive.The paper-cut art has changed t he local form according to its own needs,so that its works show free play,give special ima ge implication,and express people’s rich emotions.This article is entitled "Twelve Zodiac",which is a unique cultural feature of our nation.As we all know,the Zodiac is made of ani mals and numbered 12,which is like a river that never stops.It bears the history and cultur e of the Chinese nation for 5,000 years.It flows in a special form that is full of meaning.T he series of "Memories of Shadows" is based on the theme of Zodiac paper-cutting and use s the art form of paper-cutting to create the charm of paper-cutting in the works.In order to make the works more abundant,In the creation,the symbol,color,composition,and techn iques of paper-cutting are used.This article is mainly based on the extension of the zhuopi ng zodiacal paper-cutting in the series of works "memory silhouette".Through collecting d omestic and foreign data,we find out the empty shortcomings and entry points of the curre nt special research,and provide certain theoretical and practical basis for the application of zodiacal paper-cutting in the field of oil painting creation.
