Research On The Artistic Creation Of "Twelve Zodiac" Nixing Pottery Based On Traditional Culture

The firing technique of Nixing pottery,as a national intangible cultural heritage,has a long history,and the material of Nixing pottery has high plasticity,making its precious value self-evident.However,in today’s rich material life,the development of Nixing pottery products in the market has encountered bottlenecks,lacking the introduction of contemporary and innovative elements,and seriously lacking creative products.Accompanied by a lower tourist purchase rate,the development of Qinzhou’s cultural and creative products has also been hindered.Therefore,how to creatively transform and innovatively develop Nixing pottery culture is an urgent problem to be solved.In this context,this study is based on traditional Chinese culture and focuses on exploring the application of the twelve zodiac signs in the design of Nixing pottery products,with the aim of enriching innovative forms in Nixing pottery products.Firstly,the article elaborates on the basis of the research topic,the purpose and significance of the zodiac elements in the creation of Nixing pottery,the research direction and current situation of the topic,and proposes innovative research points.Secondly,discuss the relevant concepts of traditional culture and Nixing pottery.Through on-site research,it is analyzed that the existing Nixing pottery products have problems such as insufficient innovation,aesthetic gaps,difficulty in forming series,and single promotion methods.Based on the development trend of cultural and creative industries and cultural consumption,this paper discusses the development opportunities and opportunities of the zodiac Nixing pottery products,expands the application of zodiac culture,and explores the feasibility of the project.Once again,through case analysis of existing zodiac pottery and porcelain products,compare the advantages and disadvantages of zodiac Nixing pottery products.Based on the positioning of the audience and the summary of research interviews,a design principle combining the artistry of skillfulness and clumsiness,the fun of cute pet style,and the modernity of keeping up with the times has been proposed,providing a theoretical basis for design practice.Finally,the method of kneading and shaping was used to create the twelve zodiac Nixing pottery,and a series of visual aspects such as appearance packaging,posters,and illustrations were supplemented to enrich the overall product.Breaking the current situation of insufficient sense and lack of innovation in the original zodiac Nixing pottery product series,we have designed works that conform to the aesthetic culture and consumption patterns of young people in the new era,promoting the development of traditional culture.
