Application Of Balanced Scorecard In Environmental Performance Evaluation Of T Steel Enterprises

As a basic industry in China,iron and steel enterprises produce a large proportion of environmental pollution in our industry.Environmental pollution in the iron and steel industry has become a key problem to be solved in the construction of ecological civilization in China.Incorporating environmental performance evaluation into the enterprise’s performance evaluation system will not only help the company resolve the contradiction between the environment and the economy under the new development situation,but also provide an important basis for stakeholders to make reasonable decisions.In addition,a sound environmental performance evaluation system can encourage companies to strengthen internal environmental management in a timely manner,thereby improving environmental performance and gaining sustainable development advantages.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the environmental performance evaluation system of iron and steel enterprises.Based on previous research theories,this article takes T steel companies as a case and combines their internal and external operations to analyze the main problems in the environmental performance evaluation of T steel companies.The disclosed environmental performance information lacks systematic,There is a single perspective on environmental performance evaluation,and environmental performance evaluation indicators are not comparable.Based on this,this article starts from the development vision of T steel companies "accelerating construction to become the world’s most competitive stainless steel company" and the strategic mission of "creating superior quality with stainless wisdom and creating satisfaction for all stakeholders".Draw a strategic map of T steel companies;and design a set of environmental performance evaluation system for T steel companies from the perspective of a balanced scorecard.Finally,the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are given based on the evaluation results of the environmental performance evaluation system of the balanced scorecard of T steel enterprises.For enterprises,they should optimize internal business processes,increase research and development of environmental protection technologies,and strengthen environmental protection for employees For consciousness training and education,the government should establish and improve relevant laws and regulations,improve the environmental information disclosure mechanism,and strengthen the supervision of environmental information disclosure.
