In the context of the awakening of national environmental awareness and the national strategy of ecological priority and green low-carbon,China’s environmental protection enterprises have ushered in a good opportunity for development,while competition among enterprises has become increasingly fierce.Environmentally friendly small and medium-sized enterprises are constrained by many factors,such as resources and management,and urgently need to establish a set of practical and operable corporate performance evaluation to help themselves improve their management and achieve long-term development of the company.There are many problems with the performance evaluation of medium-sized company A,which is engaged in wastewater treatment services,based on a large amount of literature and thorough research,we found that the Balanced Scorecard plays an important role in improving the financial situation,increasing customer satisfaction and promoting market expansion,optimizing internal operations,and promoting long-term learning and growth,and is able to evaluate the performance of the company in a more comprehensive manner through a comparative analysis of several common methods of corporate performance evaluation.Most of the current research on the Balanced Scorecard is focused on large enterprises,but less on small and medium-sized enterprises,and there is little research on the performance evaluation of individual cases of enterprises engaged in wastewater treatment,a basic industry related to people’s livelihood.In view of this,this paper takes Company A as the research object and conducts a detailed case study on the application of Balanced Scorecard in performance evaluation,and tries to provide some reference and inspiration for similar environmental SMEs to apply Balanced Scorecard and actively promote the improvement of the performance evaluation of companies engaged in environmental services in China.This paper first introduces the background and significance,ideas and framework,methodology and innovation points,then compares the research results at home and abroad,and then elaborates the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations.Secondly,it describes company A’s industry overview,basic situation,and current performance evaluation status,and analysing the needs and possibilities of implementing Balanced Scorecard in Company A.Then the strategy map was drawn to determine the key performance indicators of each dimension,and then the weight of each dimension was determined by the hierarchical analysis method.Finally,the fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was applied to score the performance evaluation effect of the balanced scorecard of Company A,and then the applicability of the balanced scorecard was verified,and suggestions were made for the safeguards in the future implementation.Through the research of the paper,it is found that the performance evaluation system of Company A based on the balanced scorecard is expected to have a good effect,which can help the company conduct performance evaluation more scientifically,help the company achieve its own strategic objectives,help improve its internal management and competitiveness,and facilitate sustainable development,it can provide some reference and significance for the improvement of the current performance evaluation of similar environmentally friendly SMEs. |
