Customer relationship management system(CRM)is an important foundation for solving customers’ individual needs,gaining customers’ trust,achieving smooth communication and interaction with them,and establishing and maintaining long-term and good cooperative relations.Ouyeel International started to build the CRM system at the beginning of 2017.However,the deliverables of software development projects are not easy to define,the project schedule is difficult to define,the design changes are not easy to control,and developers are relied on.Therefore,there are difficulties in schedule management and the implementation of the project is relatively the process lacks experience for reference.Therefore,this paper intends to use the theory and tools of project management to conduct research on the progress management of Ouyeel International CRM System Project to better guide the implementation process of the progress management of software projects.This article takes the theory and method of project schedule management as the background in the application of software projects,and summarizes the theories of progress management process,schedule planning and schedule control,and applies WBS,Gantt chart,milestone plan,and network diagram.Methods such as the case study of Ouyeel International CRM project.First of all,through actual investigation and understanding of the basic situation of Ouyeel International and the implementation basis of the CRM project,the main contents,objectives and organization of the CRM project are described,and the characteristics of the CRM project and the preliminary planning work are highlighted.Secondly,we compiled the CRM project schedule.Application project activity decomposition structure(WBS)defines and sorts activities of CRM projects,uses Delphi method and empirical method to estimate project activity resources and activity time;uses milestone method,network plan,Gantt chart method The preliminary schedule of the project;using expert estimation method,empirical method,and bottom-up estimation method,estimate the workload of CRM system development,further optimize the network map plan,Gantt chart plan,and determine the formal schedule plan.Finally,the progress control of the CRM project was analyzed.Improve project progress control methods,focus on dynamics,real-time and PDCA cycle is the key to the project schedule control process;through the weekly report,monthly report,milestone report and Gantt chart to track and control the project in a timely manner;analysis of the project schedule deviation the causes and impacts,and the adjustment plan for the schedule.Through corrective measures,it is expected that the project can be officially launched within the agreed period.Software development can no longer rely on primitive extensive management methods.It must use the scientific system’s progress management theory and methods as guidance.The research of this topic will contribute to the completion of Ouyeel International CRM project on time and quality,and will introduce the project management knowledge and theory into the software system construction project,and establish a set of scientific and reasonable progress management methods applicable to software construction projects.Studying project progress management of CRM system construction can also provide some guidance and reference for the management of progress of other similar projects in China.
