Research On Digitization Of Chinese Traditional Pattern

Recently,The Revival of the Chinese traditional cultural activities has been paid high attention by Chinese government,they enhance people's awareness of protecting culture by issuing a series of documents.More and more Chinese traditional garment activities has been organized,participation in the Chinese traditional garment event has been increasing.However,people have not formed systematic knowledge of the Chinese traditional garment,currently the Chinese traditional garment on the market is not the same as the original Chinese traditional garment style,which can misguide the cognition of the consumer;Compared with the modern garment,there are fewer people engaged in the production of traditional garment,the production are still at the manual printing stage,resulting in the expensive cost.According to the time of history,this dissertation discusses the historical factors of traditional garment production and the significance of cross-shaped plane cutting,on this basis of the two basic costume forms,which are the two-piece and the single piece garments with many different varieties.Based on reviews of literature including archaeological reports,the popular garment styles of selected dynasties were summarized,In conclusion,the style of the traditional garment is elegant and graceful with A shape of silhouette and Right-cross collar,the shape of the sleeve transformed from wide to narrow.Garment articles from tombs and museums relating to 4 different dynasties(Warring States Period,Han,Song and Qing)were selected to analyse the pattern styles of the original traditional garments,to conclude,style of the traditional garment is loose than modern garment,In terms of the garment from Chu Dynasty,the length of the body is larger than the height,the Variation nearby 64cm,But the garment in Song dynasty have less variation compares with other dynasty.4 sample garment articles from these were examined for dimensional details using Coreldraw X5 software for the study on the main patterns,To sew the 4 types of traditional garment.Sum up the customized pattern drafting method.combine the modern technology with the Chinese traditional garment,connect the 3D body scan measurement to the pattern-making software Lectra Modaris.V8R1.Firstly,this research finished the custom measurement script editor,and then make the pattern which in Lectra Modaris software be constrained by a series of parameters for customised pattern,thereby,Realize the digital generation of the traditional garment.Depend on this research,the combination of tombs and museum garment with modern digital technology and customized pattern making provide guidance and reference for the restoration and customization of traditional garment,making the production of transitional garment more simple and convenient,and also improving the production efficiency of the customized traditional garment.
