At present, affected by many uncertainties such as natural disasters, urban economic development is facing great challenges. The level of urban economic resilience determines whether a city can maintain stable economic growth or rapid recovery in the face of risks, while the economic resilience of urban agglomerations reflects the resilience of regional economies with urban agglomerations as the basic unit and the ability to transition in risk.In this paper, taking seven urban agglomerations(including 71 cities in the Yellow River Basin)as the research object, this paper constructs an index system for evaluating the level of urban economic resilience, and uses the entropy method to calculate the economic resilience level values of 71 cities in the seven urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin from 2010 to 2019.The calculated economic resilience level values of each city were used to analyze the economic resilience level of the urban agglomerations in which they were located, and the urban economic resilience evolution characteristics of the urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin were analyzed from the temporal and spatial levels by gis spatial analysis. The main conclusions drawn are as follows:(1)From 2010 to 2019,the urban economic resilience of 71 cities in the 7 urban agglomerations of the Yellow River Basin showed a fluctuating upward trend. From the perspective of the river basin as a whole, the level of urban economic resilience in the urban agglomerations of the Yellow River Basin has increased, and the difference in the level of urban economic resilience of cities in the region is decreasing. From the perspective of each urban agglomeration, the development speed of each urban agglomeration varies greatly, and some urban agglomerations show a trend of fluctuating growth;from the perspective of each criterion layer, the temporal change of the scores of different urban agglomerations within each criterion layer is roughly the same as the change trend of the economic resilience level value.(2)According to the proportion of the economic resilience level of the cities included in each urban agglomeration in the overall river basin, the comprehensive analysis shows that the urban economic resilience level of each urban agglomeration in the seven urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin does not change much in time, from high to low: Shandong Peninsula Urban Agglomeration,Central Plains Urban Agglomeration,Jinzhong Urban Agglomeration,Guanzhong Plain Urban Agglomeration,Hubao-Eyu Urban Agglomeration,Ningxia Huangcheng Urban Agglomeration,Lanxi Urban Agglomeration.(3)Using the natural fault point method, the urban economic resilience level of 71 cities in the 7 urban agglomerations of the Yellow River Basin is divided into five levels of economic resilience level: high resilience level, medium resilience level, low resilience level, and low resilience level, and it is visualized and expressed, and it is analyzed from the figure that the cities with higher urban economic resilience level scores are mainly distributed in the central cities of each urban agglomeration, and the urban economic resilience level in the urban agglomerations in the eastern region of the Yellow River Basin is generally higher than that in the western region. This shows that the economic resilience level of cities in the Yellow River Basin varies greatly in different regions, and the cities with low and lower resilience levels are mainly distributed in the marginal areas of urban agglomerations in the middle and upper reaches of the Yellow River Basin that are far from central cities. From the perspective of the overall river basin, the urban economic resilience level of each urban agglomeration in the Yellow River Basin is unevenly distributed.(4)The level of urban economic resilience varies greatly across urban agglomerations. The internal differences within urban agglomerations in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River are the most obvious, such as the Shandong Peninsula Urban Agglomeration and the Central Plains Urban Agglomeration, which have both highly resilient cities ranked within the top ten and cities with low resilience levels, and cities with five levels of economic resilience are covered. In the upper reaches of the Yellow River, the urban agglomeration in the west has a lower level of resilience among the central cities,so the level of economic resilience among the constituent cities within the urban agglomeration is smaller. But over time, this difference has grown.(5)Through Arc GIS self-correlation,the urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin have a lower level of economic cooperation and less correlation in the river basin. However,in terms of local space,it can be seen from the use of LISA agglomeration that there are local autocorrelations in a small number of areas, and the local spatial agglomeration pattern of economic resilience of 71 cities in the Yellow River Basin from 2010 to 2019 remains basically stable. Finally,in combination with the index factors for evaluating the level of urban economic resilience, this paper analyzes the reasons for the existing pattern of urban economic resilience in urban agglomerations in the Yellow River Basin from five aspects: the number of urban population, the level of urban economic development, the geographical location and natural environment of cities, the status and governance concept of cities, and the level of cooperation among cities in urban agglomerations, and puts forward suggestions for improving the resilience level of urban economies from the two scales of the overall river basin and each urban agglomeration.
