The main causes of highway geohazards are the disturbance of highway construction to the original terrain and the natural environmental factors in the region of highway.By investigating the distribution of highway geohazards in the survey region,evaluating the risk of highway geohazards and conducting the highway geohazards regionalization,the basis for highway planning and construction is provided,which benefits to monitor and prevent highway geohazards.The theory of highway geohazards regionalization is proposed,combining the outstanding achievements of highway natrual regionalization,highway geohazards risk assessment and highway geohazards regionalization.The theory includes the principles and methods of highway geohazards regionalization,and the methods and steps of highway geohazards risk assessment,which is the foundation of highway geohazards regionalization model.The main types of highway geohazards in Shandong Province is researched through collecting a large amount of data.Based on ArcGIS,the basic characteristics of natural environmental factors in Shandong Province is analyzed including slope gradient,rainfall,vegetation coverage and rock type,and the relationship between highway geohazards and natural environmental factors in Shandong Province is studied.Based on Getis-Ord Gi*statistic tool,the hot spot map of four types of highway geohazards in Shandong Province is obtained,including landslides and collapses,debris flows,ground collapses and unstable slopes,and the spatial distribution of highway geohazards in Shandong Province is studied.Based on the superposition method of influencing factors,the highway geohazards regionalization evaluation model is established,which the core is comprehensive geohazard index.The comprehensive geohazard index consists of two indexes,an intensity index describing the development of highway geohazards and a sensitivity index describing the potential risk of highway geohazards.Based on the incomplete additive language matrix,the method of expert scoring is adopted to calculate the weight of each index and factor.Using the weighted overlay tool of ArcGIS,the calculation results of comprehensive geohazard index is obtained.The established model is applied to the highway geohazards regionalization in Shandong Province.Combining the comprehensive geohazard index and the geomorphological characteristics of Shandong Province,Shandong Province is divided into 4 geohazard first-level regions and 11 geohazard second-level regions.The paper puts forward to the highway geohazards regionalization scheme in Shandong Province and draws highway geohazards regionalization map in Shandong Province,providing the rationalization proposal for highway planning and construction,which is a reference for engineering practice.
