As one of the common geological disasters in China, collapse disaster has been a serious threat to people's life and property security and daily economic activities for a long time.According to the China Geological Survey, there are nearly 2 000 collapse disasters caused by various reasons every year in China. Therefore, the prediction research and management of collapse disaster are particularly important, and the collapse sensitivity analysis is the basis of the prediction research, and its primary task is to evaluate and analyze the possibility of collapse and the impact range,so as to effectively reflect the trend of collapse development and provide scientific basis for regional human engineering activities. This paper takes a certain region in the central and western regions of Shaanxi Province as a research object, and based on the survey data of collapse disasters, analyzes the collapse sensitivity of the study area.First, according to the regional geological environment conditions, sort out and summarize the development types and distribution rules of collapse disasters in the study area.Second, select the slope, aspect, elevation, curvature, distance from the water system, distance from the road network, distance from residential areas, faults.Nine influencing factors such as density and land use were used as the evaluation factors for the collapse sensitivity. An index system for the evaluation of collapse sensitivity in the study area was initially established, and the above factors were arranged and combined. Then, each evaluation was calculated using the Discomfort Index method. The Discomfort Index value and weight value of the factor were calculated and superimposed using ArcGIS simulation software as a tool to obtain a collapse sensitivity evaluation model. The research area was divided into high-prone areas,medium-high-prone areas, and medium-prone areas based on the collapse-susceptibility evaluation value,Low-prone areas and low-prone areas, complete the evaluation of the collapse sensitivity of the study area under different combinations of factors;finally, use the success rate curve method to compare and analyze the evaluation results obtained byeach model, and obtain the optimal area through screening collapse sensitivity evaluation chart. The research results show that the evaluation map of the collapse sensitivity of the study area based on 7 factors such as slope, aspect, curvature, distance from the water system, distance from residential areas, fault density and land use is the best analysis model.According to this model, success rate curves shows that the AUC(Area Under Curve)value under the curve is 0.82.Moderate and above-prone areas can grasp the collapse distribution of 89.50% of the study area. Therefore, the analysis method using the Discomfort Index method and the success rate curve method through the GIS operation platform has certain guiding significance for the prediction and assessment of regional collapse disasters and disaster prevention and mitigation.
