Floristic mainly studies the areal-types of seed plants in the region to analyze the overall diversity and floristics' properties.The phylofloristics explore the phylogenetic structure and evolution history based on the phylogenetic tree.In the study,we investigated the floristics of Jiangsu by using the analysis of floristics and phylofloristics.On the basis of data collection and sorting,combined with the key regional survey records,the date of the plant distribution in 95 regions is collected.Based on the demarcation of area-types for families and genus of WU ZY,studing the areal-types of seed plants.Divide the Jiangsu area into different geographic regions through clustering method.The phylogenetic tree is established by phylomatic.Based on the phylogenetic tree,the phylogenetic diversity and phylogenetic structure of different geographical regions and woody and herbaceous plants were explored.The main results are as follows:(1)In this study,the wild seed plants in Jiangsu area were counted through data collection and survey records of key regions,and the data of plant distribution in 95 regions were formed.Totally,1934 species of wild spermatophyte belonging to 150 families and 739 genus are distributed in the region.Including 6 species of gymnosperms belonging to 3 families,5 genus,and 1928 species of angiosperms belonging to 147 families,734 genus.The oligotypic families and monotypic families account for 45.33% and 20.67.The oligotypic genus and monotypic genus account for 42.22 % and 54.67 %.The150 families are divided into 13 areal-types.And the 739 genus are divided into 14 areal-types.From the perspective of family,tropical families account for 58.42% and temperate families account for 27.22%.From the perspective of genus,temperate genus account for 59.63% and tropical genus account for 38.38%.Overall results,the floristic compositions of wild spermatophyte are transitional in the region.The region of the wild spermatophyte composition is unstable.(2)Based on the plant distribution of 95 regions,the clustering results show that Jiangsu is divided into 4 geographical regions.Geographical region ? forest type is given priority to with evergreen broadleaf forest,geographical region ? forest type is given priority to with deciduous evergreen broadleaf mixed forest,geographical region ? and geographical region ?V forest type is given priority to with deciduous broadleaf forest.The species diversity in the geographical regions decreases with the increase of latitude.The demarcation of areal-types for species of different geographical regions were explored based on the demarcation of areal-types for genus of WU ZY.With the increase of latitude,the proportion of world wide type and temperate type are increased,and the proportion of tropical type is decreased.Overall results,The forest types of four geographical regions are different.The floristic compositions of seed plants in the study area are significantly transitional.(3)Based on phylomatic tree,the phylogenetic characteristics of four geographical regions were studied.The phylogenetic diversity of geographic regions is similar to the pattern of species diversity,and decreases with increasing latitude.In order to exclude the influence of species number on phylogenetic diversity,the SES-PD value is obtained by standardized treatment of phylogenetic diversity.Geographical region ? and Geographical region ? have higher SES-PD values.The SES-PD values of geographical region ? and geographical region ? are-2.22 and-3.35 respectively.According to the NRI index to explain the phylogenetic structure.The NRI of geographical region ? and geographical region ? are-1.49 and-0.38 respectively.The phylogenetic structure of geographic region ? and region ? are discrete.The NRI of geographic region ? and region ?V are 1.88 and 2.25 respectively.The phylogenetic structures of geographic region ? and region ?V are clustered.The above results show that the plants in geographical regions I and II are more ancient and have higher evolutionary potential.The most intense competition among species in geographical region ? and the closest genetic relationship among species in geographical region ?V.(4)Woody plants and herbaceous plants are the main components of community.The study on the phylogenetic characteristics of woody plants and herbaceous plants can better understand the distribution characteristics of plants.The abundance of herbaceous plants in all geographic regions is much higher than that of woody plants.The abundance and phylogenetic diversity of woody and herbaceous plants will decrease with the increase of latitude.Geographical region ? Woody plants and herbs have the highest SES-PD values.The SES-PD of woody plants is-2.34.The SES-PD values of herbaceous plants is-10.54.According to the NRI index to explain the phylogenetic structure,the structures of woody plants and herbaceous plants are not random.The phylogenetic structure of woody plants in all geographic regions is discrete.The herbaceous plant phylogeny structure of geographic region ? is aggregated,but it is not significant.The phylogenetic structure of herbaceous plants in other geographical regions is discrete.Overall results,the woody and herbaceous plants in geographical unit I are ancient and retains more genetic information.The position of woody plants and herbaceous plants in the phylogenetic tree are scattered.The genetic relationship between woody plants is farther than that between herbaceous plants.In this study,phylofloristics is applied to study the seed plants in Jiangsu.And among the four geographical regions formed by clustering division.The results showed that the phylogeny diversity of geographical regions I and II is higher,and the composition of plants in this part of the region is more ancient and had higher evolutionary potential.The results fully show that the protection of plants in the geographical regions I and II is of more protection value and significance.It is suggested that attention should be paid to the construction of nature reserves in Jiangsu.The design of various types of nature reserves should not only protect biodiversity hotspots,but also protect the phylogenetic diversity.This study provides a new idea for plants protection.
