For nearly half a century, with the rapid development of global urbanization, urban lighting has expanded rapidly internationally. The urban light pollution caused by this rapid expansion without scientific guidance has a negative impact on the physical and mental health of urban residents and the survival of light-sensitive species represented by birds. As an important migration channel and transfer station for the"Asia-Australia"bird lane,China is also an area rich in bird resources. The relevant research from the protection of birds is still in a lacking state, and the study of bird photoecology is urgently needed. In this study, the magnetic orientation behavior of two migratory birds,yellow-throated bunting and Oriental Greenfinch which are widely distributed, rich in population, and migration routes and living environment are easily affected, during the migration period was studied. The research designed a separate isolated artificial light environment and dish-shaped experimental unit, obtained the light environment parameters of the real bird habitat through field investigation, designed a complete set of laboratory light environment parameters, index system and research methods, and established an optical interference magnetic orientation experiment platform in laboratory. In this study, three irradiances of 0.002 W/m~2,0.005 W/m~2 and 0.01 W/m~2 were set.Natural light, blue light(475-477nm),green light(520-523nm),lime light(535-553nm),amber light(593-595nm),red light(634-635nm)six kinds of light environment for cross experiment. The results show that the median activity of yellow-throated bunting and Oriental Greenfinch under natural light are 0.73 and 0.25,respectively,and the orientation angle ranges are 0°-311.32°and 289.05°-318.65°,respectively.In the artificial light environment, with the increase of the irradiance, the activity of the Oriental Greenfinch has generally improved, and the activity of the yellow-throated bunting is not much different;compared with natural light, the deviation of the orientation angle of the two species increases, and the number of disoriented samples increases. The deviation of the yellow-throated bunting and the Oriental Greenfinch under different irradiances and light colors is different. It can be seen that different species have different ways of stressing artificial light. The blue light, amber light and the red interfered greatly with the magnetic orientation of the yellow-throated bunting, and the red light interfered greatly with the Oriental Greenfinch. It can be seen that there are differences in the sensitive spectra between different species. The optical interference magnetic orientation experimental platform built in this study can be used as a research method and platform support for follow-up research. The research results and research conclusions obtained by the research can provide areas where the passerine, especially the two species,is the typical dominant species. The scientific theoretical support of urban lighting design can supplement and improve the basic database of light ecology in Asia.
