As the ecological environment deteriorates, the relationship between man and nature tends to become tense. The issue of sustainable development is getting more and more attention. In 2015,the "Change Our World: 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" adopted by the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit officially put forward 17 Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs).It covers the three major aspects of society, economy, and environment. It points out the direction and outlines the blueprint for the development of all countries in the world in the next 15 years. In view of the large number of SDGs index system, monitoring and evaluation is a difficult problem,so it can provide data sources for SDGs quantification from the perspective of geographic information. In 2020,it is proposed to build a two-city economic circle in the Chengdu-Chongqing region. This will create an important pole of growth and a new source of power for high-quality development across the country. Therefore,in the context of the new era, while expanding the new space for high-quality development, the issue of sustainable development should also be an issue worthy of attention. And the research on sustainable development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is still blank. Therefore, this study is based on the SDGs framework and combined with the development plan of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle, and deconstructed 27 indicators(covering social, economic, and environmental aspects)suitable for the sustainable development of the Chengdu-Chongqing dual-city economic circle for explanation 11 SDGs goals.By using land use data,Poi data and GIS grid model, the spatial processing of traditional statistical data is carried out,and the problem of data research scale is solved.Taking2010,2015 and 2018 as the research time scale and 1km×1km as the spatial scale.Based on this, this paper makes a quantitative study on the sustainable development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle, hoping to provide reference value for the better sustainable development of the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle. The conclusions of this study are as follows:1.Spatial and temporal characteristics of sustainable development in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle(1)The spatial characteristics of the sustainable development of Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle are roughly the same as for the social system, economic system, and comprehensive system. They are all clustered with high value in the dual-core main urban areas of Chengdu and Chongqing, with prefecture-level cities and district and county centers as the second high value centers, presenting obvious topographical features.Time scale changes all experience a process of first decreasing and then increasing. The environmental system presents a low-value distribution with dual-core main cities, and the topographic features are also obvious. The score of the environmental system is higher than that of the social and economic systems, and the overall system development price difference, the highest value is only about 0.5.It shows that in the process of sustainable development in the study area, the comprehensive social and economic conditions are relatively low and need to be improved.Balanced development should be emphasized.(2)The level of coupling degree in the study area changes little in time and space, which is mainly in the running-in stage.Binuclear and prefecture-level cities, districts and counties center form a reticular high-level distribution, while the edge and mountains of the study area are in the low-level coupling mixed antagonism stage.(3)The coupling and coordination development of each system has little change in the spatial and temporal scale, which is mainly on the verge of maladjustment.Only the dual-core urban area is in the primary and intermediate coupling and coordination stages. This shows that Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle is unevenly developed, and the development of society, economy and environment is also inconsistent.2.Evolution of the spatial and temporal pattern of sustainable development in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle(1)Both the comprehensive index and the coupling coordination degree have strong spatial correlation, both are greater than 0.75,and the time difference is small. The spatial aggregation is dominated by high-high aggregation and low-low aggregation, presenting a spatial distribution pattern of high-high aggregation in the middle and low-low aggregation at the edge, all presenting obvious topographical characteristics. The cold and hot spots of the comprehensive index and the degree of coupling coordination are concentrated on the north side of the Chongzhou-Hejiang line, with the dual-core city as the center, radiating the surrounding areas. The standard deviation ellipse of the comprehensive index and the coupling coordination degree shows a northeast-southwest direction, and the center movement distance is small. In 2010-2015 and 2015-2018,it only moved a few hundred meters, and the direction of movement was shifted toward the southeast, that is,close to Chongqing.(2)The statistical average value of each land use type from high to low is environmental system, coupling coordination degree, economic system, comprehensive system and social system.According to the landuse type, the occupied area of each system is cultivated land, grassland, water area, construction land and unused land, and cultivated land comes first, which also shows the importance of cultivated land and grain in Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle.(3)Each system and coupling coordination degree have obvious differentiation law in elevation and slope.Environmental system index is positively correlated with elevation and slope, while economic system index, social system index, comprehensive system index and coupling coordination degree are positively correlated with elevation and slope.(4)The environmental system value is the highest, and the social system value is the lowest, indicating that the environmental development in the Shuangcheng and Chongqing economic circle is better than the economic and social development. Therefore, more attention should be given to the development of the social system, the construction of social infrastructure should be increased, and the convenience of people's life should be provided.
