The leafhopper tribe Athysanini belongs to the subfamily Deltocephalinae(Hemiptera:Cicadellidae),and it is a large worldwide distribution group of Deltocephalinae. In this thesis, the history and current situations of taxonomic study of the tribe Athysanini both in China and abroad were remembered, and the taxonomic characteristics of this tribe was introduced. On the basis of taxonomy, the geographical distribution of this group was discussed and the phylogeny of representative genera and species was studied. The main results are as follows:1.Taxonomy89 species of 23 genera of Athysanini are recorded in China, among them, including 2 new genera,12 new species,1 new record genera and 2 new record species, and proposing 2 specific synonym(1 new record genera,1 new species has been published). The male genitalia of 70 species of Athysanini in China were mapped and the color pictures of adults were provided.Based on this, the keys to the genera and species of Athysanini in China was compiled. The type specimens and examined specimens were deposited in the Institute of Entomology,Guizhou University,Guiyang,China(GUGC).The categories of new classification units, new records and other classification status changes are as follows:New genera: Rubmacula gen.nov.;Fuscmacula Yao & Xing,2021.New species: Abrus furcatus sp.nov.;Bambusana biprocessa sp.nov.;Bambusananus branchus sp.nov.;Bambusananus fleurus sp.nov.;Bambusananus longistyleus sp.nov.;Bambusananus monobasus sp.nov.;Cyclevertex dentimargins sp.nov.;Fuscmacula biprocessa Yao & Xing,2021;Neoreticulum longicaudum sp.nov.;Protensus lii Zhang & Xing,2021;Rubmacula lvchunensis sp.nov.;Watanabella curvatua Zhang & Xing,2020.New record species: Watanabella graminea Choe,1981 rec.nov.;Orientus ishidae(Matsumura,1902)rec.nov..New synonym: Paramacrostele Dai,Li & Chen,2006 is a junior synonym of Watanabella Vilbaste,1969 rec.nov.;Bambusana biflaka Li,2011 is a junior synonym of Bambusananus maculipennis Li & Xing,2011;Paramacrosteles nigromaculatus Dai,Li & Chen,2006 is a junior synonym of Watanabella graminea Choe,1981 rec.nov..2.Faunal analysisThis thesis systematically and comprehensively analyzed 23 genera and 87 species of the Athysanini in Zoogeographic regions of the world and China. The results are as follows:At generic level: 23 genera constitute 7 types of distribution in Zoogeographic regions in the world.Among them,11 genera are distributed in Oriental—Palaearctic region which making up47.83 %;6 genera are distributed in Oriental region, which making up 26.09 %.If all the genera which include the region genus are calculated,22 genera are distributed in Oriental region which making up 95.66 %;and 17 genera in total will belong to Palaearctic, making up 73.91 %.And 23 genera constitute 12 types of distribution in Chinese Zoogeographic regions.Among them,3genera are distributed in South China region and Northeast China—Mongolia-Xinjiang region, which in the most total number of genera making up 13.04 %.If all the genera which include the region genus are calculated,16 genera in total will belong to Central China region, making up69.57 %,and 10 genera in total will belong to North China region, which make up 43.48 %.Therefore,it is obvious that Oriental region genera compose the majority of the Chinese Athysanini at generic level, and Palaearctic region is secondary. And the Central China region genera compose the majority of the Chinese Athysanini at generic level, and North China region is secondary. At specific level: 87 known species of the tribe Athysanini from China constitute 6 types of distribution in Zoogeographic regions in the world.Among them,56 species are distributed in Oriental region, which in the most total number of species occupying 64.37 %,and 16 species in total will belong to Oriental—Palaearctic region, which make up 18.39 %.If all the species which include the region species are calculated, then 74 species in total will belong to Oriental region, making up 85.06 %,and 31 species in total will belong to Palaearctic region, which make up35.63 %.87 species constitute 20 types of distribution in seven Chinese Zoogeographic regions.Among them,26 species are distributed in Central China region, which in the most total number of species occupying 29.89 %,and 12 species in total will belong to Central China region—South China region, which make up 13.79 %.If all the species which include the region species are calculated,55 species in total will belong to Central China region, making up 63.22 %,and 23 species in total will belong to South China region, which make up 26.44 %.Therefore,it is obvious that Oriental species compose the majority of the Chinese Athysanini at specific level, and Palaearctic region is secondary. The Central China region species compose the majority of the Chinese Athysanini at specific level,South China region is secondary.3.Phyogenetic analysis38 species of 25 genera of the Chinese Athysanini were selected as the ingroup and Scaphoideus albomaculatus Li,1990 as outgroup representative species.Based on 64 morphological characteristics,TNTver.1.1 was used to construct a phylogenetic tree of the Chinese Athysanini. The results showed that:(1)In the phylogenetic tree,China Athysanini was a monophyletic group;(2)The monophyly of the new genus is supported by the phylogenetic tree. This indicates that the taxonomic position of the new genus in the Chinese Athysanini is established;(3)Orientus De Long,1938 and Neoreticulum Dai,2009 form sister group relationships.
