Systematic Study On The Tribe Alebrini And Dikraneurini From China (Hemiptera:cicadellidae:typhlocybinae)

The present dissertation is a comprehensive study on the morphology,taxonomy,geographical distribution and phylogeny of Alebrini and Dikraneurini from China.The research history of Alebrini and Dikraneurini was reviewed both worldwide and domestically.In the morphological part,the taxonomical characters and terms were outlined.Known species were identified,new species were recorded,and the phylogeny and biogeography of the tribe were analyzed and discussed.In present paper,10 genera and 27 species of Alebrini known in China are reported,of which 5 genera and 16 species are new to science,2 genera and 3 species are newly recorded from China;33 genera and 85 species of Dikraneurini known in China are recorded,of which 9 genera and 40 species are new to science,9 genera and 10 species are reported from China for the first time.Keys are given to all the genera and species included.All the observed species were photographed and their male genitalia are illustrated.New taxa and new Chinese records are as follows:New genera:Alebrini:Brachyblastus,Longitubus,Pedatus,Senebra and Trigonius gen.nov.;Dikraneurini:Angella,Atris,Bizarreriea,Brachychelus,Hamata,Longissimus,Lustera,Robusta and Unicus gen.nov.New species:Alebrini:Brachyblastus rhombeus,Longitubus dujiangyanensis,Orientalebra brevicolumnaria,Pedatus quinquegeminatus,Senebra bracteiformis,Senebra scapiformis,Shaddai acuminatus,Shaddai gracilior,Shaddai longior,Shaddai robustus,Sobrala acanthophylla,Sobrala dactylina,Sobrala lamellaris,Sobrala quadrilatera,Trigonius aculeatus and Trigonius singularis spp.nov.;Dikraneurini:Anaka longistema,Anaka paranepalica,Anaka pocketa,Anaka tianmushanensis,Angella lamella,Atris dentalis,Atris spinalis,Ayubiana digitatea,Bizarreriea biannulara,Brachychelus sculptus,Cuanta brevis,Cuanta centrica,Cuanta curva,Dikraneura(Dikraneura)nigsticta,Hamata bifida,Igutettix macropronotumus,Igutettix vandykeus,Iniesta flavusa,Karachiota acanaceousa,Longissimus bimaculatus,Lustera tengchongensis,Michalowskiya(Michalowskiya)digitata,Motschulskyia(Motschulskyia)broadstriata,Platfusa processa,Platfusa ruida,Riyavaroa polyprocessa,Robusta emeiensis,Takagioma curvata,Takagioma pagoda,Takagioma sworda,Togaricrania zhaoqingensis,Trifida ampullaceousa,Trifida crassostema,Trifida matrassa,Unicus brevus,Unicus longus,Urvana tetradactylea,Vikabara apicifixa,Vikabara serpentine and Vikabara shafta spp.nov.New-record genera from China:Alebrini:Orientalebra Dworakowska,1971 and Sobrala Dworakowska,1977 n.rec.;Dikraneurini:Ayubiana Ahmed,1969,Cuanta Dworakowska,1993,GolwalaDworakowska,1993,Iniesta Dworakowska,1993,Notus Fieber,1866,Platfusa Dworakowska,1993,Riyavaroa Dworakowska,1993,Takagioma Thapa,1993 and Trifida Thapa et Sohi,1986,n.rec.New-record species from China:Alebrini:Alebra neglecta Wagner,1940,Orientalebra gemebata Dworakowska,1971 and Sobrala tmava Dworakowska,1977;Dikraneurini:Anaka colorata Dworakowska&Viraktamath,1975,Anaka nepalica Thapa&Sohi,1986,Dikraneura(Dikraneura)fragilis Dworakowska,1993,Dikraneura(Dikraneura)zlata Dworakowska,Singh&Nagaich,1979,Forcipata forcipata(Flor,1861),Golwala(Samruadkita)sommaiae Dworakowska,1993,Iniesta bengalensis Dworakowska,1993,Notus flavipennis(Zetterstedt,1828),Trifida quadripunctata Thapa et Sohi,1986,and Wagneriala franzi(Wagner,1955).Distribution data of Alebrini worldwide reveals that most genera and species are mainly distributed in Neotropical Region,but most genera and species of Dikraneurini are in Oriental Region.Most Chinese genera and species of both Alebrini.and Dikraneurini are mainly distributed in Oriental Region,which is mainly tropical and subtropical.The cladistic analysis was carried out with MyBayes 3.1 and Paup*4.0b10 separately,combined with Treeview(Win 32,Version X),using defalt settings for heuristic searches for the first time.The ingroup include 33 genera of the tribe Dikraneurini from China.The results reveal the evolution at genus level.At the end,photos of adults and diagnostic figures of all the species included,checklists of genera of Alebrini and Dikraneurini worldwide,literature citation,index to both scientific names and Chinese names are attached.The type specimens of the new species are deposited separately in the Northwest A&F University(NWAFU),Agricultural University of China(CAU)and Zoological Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS).
