Preliminary Taxonomic Study Of Naviculoid Diatoms Qinghai Province,China

Qinghai Province is located in the inland northwest of China,with a vast territory,diverse climate types,and unique and abundant diatom biological resources.In this study,algae samples were collected in parts of Qinghai Province in China in July 2018 and August 2019.A total of 194 samples were collected.The collection areas include:Xining,Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Hainan,Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Golog,Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Huangnan,Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Haibei;The collection habitats include: rivers,ditches,lakes,fish ponds,blisters,wetlands,swamps,temporary stagnant water,wet rock walls,and creeks.Light microscope(ZEISS Imager.A2)and scanning electron microscope(Hitachi S-4800)were used to conduct taxonomic research on the naviculoid diatom plants in the cover.After observation and identification,a total of 258 taxa were identified for the species of naviculoid diatoms.Including newly recorded in China are 61 taxa.1.Among the diatoms observed,from the family level,Cymbellaceae is the most abundant,Proschkiniaceae and Berkeleyaceae are the least;from the genus level,Navicula Bory is the genus has the most species,and there is only one taxa within 11 genera.2.The most species found in the Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture,with 210 taxa;followed by Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Golog and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Huangnan,with 130 and 109 taxa respectively;those distributed in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Hainan.The number of species is 100taxonomies;the number of species distributed in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Hainan and Xining is the least,with 44 and 24 taxa respectively.3.There are 45 species distributed only in Haixi Mongolian and Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture;4 species distributed only in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Hainan;10 species distributed only in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Golog;14species only distributed in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Huangnan;there is only one species distributed in Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Haibei;there is no species distributed only in Xining.4.Most species are distributed in rivers,with a total of 189 taxa;lakes,swamps,and wetlands are followed,with 164,109 and 100 taxa respectively observed;79 taxa are observed in temporary stagnant water;The number of species observed in water ditch,small streams,fish ponds,wet rock walls,and blister habitats is relatively small.5.Among the collected lakes,the most species of naviculoid diatoms found in Donggizona Lake,the number of species is 99 taxa;the species of naviculoid diatoms found in Emerald Lake is the least,with 33 taxa.
