Preliminary Study Of Diatom Taxonomy From Jingpo Lake,Heilongjiang Province

Jingpo Lake is located in the transitional area between Zhangguangcailing and Laoyeling in Changbai Mountain.The climate of this lake is temperate monsoon.The habitat of this area is very diverse,with highly abundant of algae biodiversity.In May,September and October of 2017,algae samples were collected from Jingpo Lake.A total of 102 samples were collected,pH,water temperature,conductivity and other physical and chemical parameters were measured at the same time.The habitat include lake,river and ponds.Specimens were fixed with 4% formaldehyde.Permanent slides were made by Naphrax,and a total of 204 slides were made.The diatom were observed and photographed by ZEISS Imager.A2.After identification,a total of 223 taxa were found,belonging to 3 classes,13 orders,24 families,55 genera,203 species and 20 varieties,including 19 new record species of China,which belong to 3 classes,8 orders,12 families,14 genera,16 species and 3 varieties.The morphological characteristics of each taxa were described in detail in this paper and LM pictures of all the taxa were provided.Species composition and ecological distribution characters of diatom in Jingpo Lake,were analysed.The results are as follows:1.The biodiversity of genus is relatively high,while the quality of species are relatively low.Most of them are cosmopolitan species.2.Species belong to Bacillariophyceae is relatively abundant,while species belong to Coscinodiscophyceae and Fragilariophycea are relatively rare.3.The dominant species are rare,include: Gomphonema truncatum Ehrenberg?Cymbella tumida(Brébisson)Van Heurck?Gomphonema parvulum Kützing?Navicula radiosa Kützing?Cymbella turgidula Grunow?Nitzschia palea(Kützing)Smith?Encyonema minutum Mann.4.Based on the cluster analysis of thephysical and chemical parameters,all the sampling sites were divided into three areas: residential area,tourist area and shipping area.Among the three regions,the tourist area has the most abundant species with 86 taxa were identified;in shipping area,62 taxa were identified;77 taxa were identified in the residential areas.Species were observed from all these three area accounted for 26% of the total species.5.In May,September and October of 2017,September has the most abundant species diversity,with 198 taxa were identified In May,only 96 taxa were identified.In October,122 taxa were identified.6.The epiphty samples were collected from stones,grass,leaves in lake and ponds.The diatom are very abundant in the samples from stone of the lakeside and grass or leaves of the ponds.
