Anti-money laundering has been paid more and more attention by all countries in the world, from the pure technical level to the national strategic height,to the international political level. In recent years, under the principle of risk-based,China's commercial banks identify, assess, monitor and control money laundering risk,in which money laundering risk assessment is the basis of effective money laundering risk management. In 2013,China established the principle of risk assessment and classification of money laundering of commercial bank customers, but with the enhancement of the organization, concealment and professionalism of money laundering crime, higher requirements have been put forward for the risk assessment system of commercial bank customers' money laundering.Through my long-term experience in the anti-money laundering section of commercial banks, this paper deeply analyzes the risk assessment status and the existing management system of commercial bank customers' money laundering, and diagnoses the problem in the light of the development of financial business in recent years.Further, from the customer's money laundering risk assessment factors, evaluation indicators and evaluation models, the customer's money laundering risk assessment system, and put forward relevant countermeasures. This paper holds that the risk assessment system for money laundering for commercial bank customers should be based on the money laundering risk assessment system proposed by the People's Bank of China, and the new risk elements should be added and the evaluation model improved. The use of scientific assessment methods to make the customer money laundering risk assessment system more in line with the commercial banks anti-money laundering risk control requirements and its own compliance development strategy requirements.
