The complex and changeable natural environment in near space and the state of environmental parameters such as atmospheric density,wind field and temperature directly affect the safety of aircraft and aerospace activities.Therefore,the research on visualization of near space data has high application value.Atmospheric wind field is an important part of near space,and its visualization research and analysis have important value and guiding significance for promoting the development of near space.However,due to the large scale of data and the characteristics of time series and dynamic changes,effective visualization and analysis have always been a challenge.The digital earth platform that presents geographic information by perceiving the 3D aspect of geographic features can more truly perceive the actual environment,so it has the characteristics of intuitive imagery in large-scale and global spatial data visualization.Based on the digital earth system platform,the visualization study of atmospheric wind field data in near space is in line with the development trend of the "next-generation digital earth".Mining the temporal and spatial laws contained in the atmospheric wind field data in near space has great scientific and application value.At present,there are two specific problems in the visualization of near space vector field data in the Web environment at home and abroad: First,the visualization research involved in the secondary development engine with the characteristics of distributed,scalable,cross-platform,cross-terminal,etc.less.The second is the defect of the visualization method of near space vector field data,that is,how to realize the adaptive real-time dynamic expression of the multi-level and multi-temporal motion law and change trend of the near space atmospheric wind field data.In response to the above problems,this paper studies and implements the visualization method of near space vector field data based on DESP Engine,the secondary development engine of the digital earth platform.The main work includes the following three aspects:(1)The experimental platform of DESP Engine,the secondary development engine of the digital earth basic platform developed based on the new generation of digital earth concept,is adopted.Aiming at the problems of less visualization research involved in the secondary development engine with the characteristics of distributed,scalable,cross-platform,cross-terminal,etc.,the secondary development and plug-in management based on Web GL,HTML5 and other technologies are adopted.The experimental platform of the development engine DESP Engine.(2)Propose an adaptive method for dynamic visualization of atmospheric wind field data in near space based on the horizon.Aiming at the shortcomings in the dynamic expression of multi-level motion characteristics and regional detail information in the nearby space atmospheric wind field data visualization method,a multi-level visualization adaptive scheme based on the field of view is proposed,which effectively solves the global problem caused by traditional vector field visualization.The problem of mismatch with local information description.(3)Verification of the adaptive effect of visualization of atmospheric wind field data in near space on the experimental platform of DESP Engine.According to the particle system that can interactively visualize 3D vector fields,the seed layout strategy of random functions is used to achieve the best rendering performance and visual effects.At the same time,it monitors the distance and position relationship between the viewpoint and the vector field in real time,and re-initializes the particles according to the current field of view to generate streamlines with a suitable layout density,which finally solves the problem of visualizing massive complex vector field data and global and local feature information.The problem of high-definition rendering is to support the challenge of real-time visualization.On its plug-in-free,cross-operating system and cross-browser digital earth platform,it realizes the adaptation of the dynamic visualization of the atmospheric wind field in near space.
