Based On The Geographical Conditions Results Analysis Of The Regional Geographic Information Visualization

With the fast development of computer graphics technology, Spatial database technology, virtual reality technology and Satellite remote sensing technology,Research on 3D visualization of geographic information has become the new trend of GIS. In current, the projects of Digital City are being carried out vigorously in many large cities,the use of 3D visualization of geographic information can achieve multi-dimensional special expression of the digital city spatial data,thus get rid of the original single expression based on two-dimensional map;By adopting the space visualization express way to reproduce all kinds of landscape features more intuitive and vividly and accurately simulate the landform environment, in order to provide users with strong realistic scene information.In the paper we take the range of national census of Haiyang in shandong province for survey region. The key is to study geographical information visualization based on the all kinds of geo-spatial data. Through the investigation and analysis on the demand for the region, based on the.NET development environment and Arc GIS Engine secondary development components,so that establish a geographic information visualization interactive platform open to the public.Moreover,based on the existing geographic information database,combined with the results of the geographical Census data,so that build a unified、standard regional geographic information database.The primary contents are as follows:(1)3D model visualization. Different features have their different physical characteristics, so we need according to the data structure and modeling method to create space entity,such as adopt regular grid or TIN modeling method construct a three dimensional surface in the Arc GIS system,and based on the Vector data build urban landscape model in Sketchup.(2)Make good use of the geographical conditions census content, combined with the history database and establish geographical spatial database system based on the GIS platform,the content includes 3D model database and fundamental geographic information database.(3)Build a visualization system based on Arc GIS Engine for secondary development component,detail the method and key technology of the 2-3D spatial analysis or 3D visualization functions.(4)Rely on Arc Globe three-dimensional extension module to create a 3D scene, and realize the urban landscape dynamic roaming in Sketchup.
