Resource development is always accompanied by land destruction.Coal resource-based cities have undoubtedly become areas with intense changes in land use.At the same time,with the development of urbanization and industrialization,there are generally serious ecological and environmental problems in this area.Therefore,analyzing the relationship between land use and ecological vulnerability is of great significance to the land use planning and ecological environment protection of coal resource-based cities.In this paper,Datong City,a typical coal resource-based city in Shanxi Province,was selected as the study area.This paper comprehensively used remote sensing image data,vegetation data,topographic data,soil data,meteorological data and socio-economic data,adopted genetic projection pursuit model and ecological vulnerability assessment model combined with RS and GIS technology methods to obtain 2000,2005,2010,2015,and 2018 land use and ecological vulnerability.On this basis,the evolution mechanism of land use change,the temporal and spatial evolution of ecological vulnerability and the impact of land use change on ecological vulnerability in the study area were deeply analyzed,and proposed corresponding optimization countermeasures,in order to provide reference for regional ecological environment protection,land use pattern optimization management and sustainable development.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The forest land,construction land and mining land in Datong City had a trend of expansion,while the cultivated land and grass land were constantly decreasing.From 2005 to 2010,the dynamic degree of area change of construction land and mining land reached the highest value in the study period,which where5.05% and 40.91% respectively.During this period,the land use transfer speed was significantly accelerated,and the total amount also increased significantly.The degree of land use was increasing.In terms of the transferred area,the transferred-in area of forest land,construction land,and mining land was larger than the transferred-out area,and the transferred-out area of cultivated land,grass land,water body,and unused land was larger than the transferred-in area.(2)In 2000,2005,2015 and 2018,the ecological vulnerability of Datong City was mainly at a moderately vulnerable level,and in 2010 it was mainly at a strongly vulnerable level.The highest value of the ecological vulnerability level index was3.45 in 2010,and the lowest value was 3.08 in 2018.The ecological vulnerability was high in the west and low in the east.The Urban District and Zuoyun County had higher ecological vulnerability,while Lingqiu County had lower ecological vulnerability.In the past 18 years,the overall ecological vulnerability of the study area had decreased,indicating that the overall development of the ecological environment in Datong City was relatively optimistic.(3)From 2000 to 2018,the level of ecological vulnerability under different land use types differed significantly.That most of the cultivated land,forest land,grass land,water body and unused land were at the moderate vulnerable level,while construction land and mining land were mostly at the strong vulnerable level.During this period,the smallest vulnerability index of land use type was grass land and water body,and the largest was mining land and construction land.The area of construction land,mining land,unused land and forest land increased,and the ecological vulnerability increased significantly.The area of cultivated land,grass land and water body increased,and the ecological vulnerability decreased significantly.
