Research On The Spatial Pattern Of The Cultural Landscape Of Village Place Names In Shandong Province Based On GIS

Village place names contain unique regional culture,fully reflect the local physical geography and human geography characteristics,and witness the process of human use of nature and transformation of nature.With the acceleration of urbanization,a considerable number of village place names have disappeared in the long river of history.Shandong Province is one of the important birthplaces of the ancient civilization of the Chinese nation,with a long history and culture.As a continuous and frequently used cultural product in real life,its village names are still active in people's life.Therefore,this paper takes Shandong Province as the research area,takes the semantic culture of village place names as the research object,and uses the quantitative analysis method to study the spatial pattern of various landscape place names classified according to the semantic culture.This paper provides new research materials for the study of village place name culture in other regions,and makes the village place name culture in Shandong Province be inherited and protected,and makes a certain contribution to the construction of place name culture.The conclusions are as follows:(1)The village names in Shandong Province are divided into two categories: natural landscape and human landscape.The natural landscape names are divided into four categories:landform,water,vegetation and animal culture.The human landscape names are divided into seven categories: surname,location,economy,military,transportation,architecture and moral culture.According to statistics,the place names of villages in Shandong Province are mainly human landscapes,supplemented by natural landscapes.(2)By using the methods of mathematical statistics and GIS spatial analysis,the characteristics of large density and uneven distribution of village place names in Shandong Province are obtained,and the spatial distribution rules of various landscape place names are revealed.The natural landscape place names are mainly concentrated in the mountainous areas in the middle and south of Shandong Province and the hilly areas in the east of Shandong Province.Among them,landform and water culture are mainly distributed in the mountain areas of South Central Shandong and hilly areas of East Shandong,while vegetation and animal culture are mostly distributed in the mountain areas of South Central Shandong.Human landscape place names are mainly distributed in plain areas suitable for human habitation.Among them,surname,economy and traffic culture are mainly distributed in Western and Northern Shandong;orientation culture is scattered;military culture is mainly concentrated in plain areas;architectural culture is mainly distributed in Northwest and Southwest Shandong;moral culture is mainly distributed in central and southern Shandong.(3)Through the analysis of the influence factors of the geographical detector on the cultural landscape of village names in Shandong Province,it can be concluded that the main factor controlling the spatial distribution of natural landscape place names is landform.Different natural landscape place names only have differences in the ability of landform to explain their spatial differentiation.Population density and economic factors have great influence on the spatial distribution of human landscape place names,and the explanation of the spatial differentiation of different human landscape place names is only different in the strength of the role.
