| China has entered an ageing population, and the number of elderly people will continue to increase in the future. The fall of elderly people is related to their life safety.Studying the gait stability of the elderly is very important for the elderly’s fall problem. This thesis is based on a research project of an elderly shoe test conducted by China National Institute of Standardization. The study found that there is a significant difference in the basic gait parameters among young and middle-aged people. The results of the data show that as the age increases, the gait cycle becomes longer and the pace slows down.Within the same group, gait parameters of subjects of different genders were significantly different.Among them, there is a significant difference in the basic gait parameters between middle-aged and elderly men and young men,and there is a significant difference only in the gait cycle between middle-aged and elderly women and young women.Through analysis of the subject’s joint angular velocity,it was found that the angular velocity of the knee joint and the angular velocity of the ankle joint changed, and there were mutations in the process from the heel to the ground toe off and the acceleration swing.Within the same group, the joint activity thresholds of subjects of different genders are significantly different, and different anti-skid properties will affect the subject’s joint activity thresholds.Middle-aged and elderly people should strengthen the protection of ankle and knee joints, and should choose walking shoes with excellent anti-skid performance in daily life, which can effectively improve stability. The results of plantar mechanics experimental research found that the most concentrated parts of the soles of the middle and old people where the stress concentration and impulse accumulation occurred in the forefoot and heel area. The specially designed test insole can effectively relieve the fatigue of the subject.Taking 60 years as a cut-off point, from the perspective of the pressure center trajectory curve, the physical stability of elderly people over60 years of age declines. |
