Through to research flora of evergreen broad-leaved forest in Sanming Castanopsis kawakamii reserve and 45 species of woody plants of leaf functional traits,we aimed to affirm flora of C.kawakamii forest in Sanming and study variation of leaf functional traits. The results shows:(1)Sanming C.kawakamii reserve seed flora composition had maximum of similarity with Lingnan region and can considered be one genus belong to China-Japan forest flora and be one of Lingnan mountain, north Guangdong region.(2)Traits of leaf changed widely. From leaf structure properties, specific leaf area(SLA)ranged in 129.630?863.450 cm2·g-1.Leaf dry matter content(LDMC)distributed in the range of 0.214?0.709.Aarea ranged from 1.1 to 14.5 umol·m-2s-1.Analyzed plant constructive traits,SLA?LDMC and area baesd leaf nitrogen concerntration(Narea),area baesd leaf carbon concertration(Carea),area baesd leaf phosphorous concerntration(Parea)showed significant negative correlation. From plant physiological traits, area baesd leaf net photosynthetic rate(Aarea)and chlorophyll content(SPAD)??13C show significant positive correlation with each other. And trait SLA also has a good correlation with Aarea and SPAD??13C.(3)Ecological strategy of 45 species can be divided into five kinds:competitor(C)?competitor-stress tolerator(CS)?competition-stress tolerator-ruderal(CSR)?stress tolerator-ruderal(SR)and stress tolerator(S).C strategy function is group of plants with larger SLA,lower Carea.Narea?Parea?LDMC;S strategy functional group can be summarized as have smaller SLA,higher LDMC;CS strategy is more balanced. But functional group is classified as a CSR strategy is relatively larger than C strategy in SLA and lower in LDMC.This type may adopt increase Aarea and accelerate the water use efficiency and decrease investment in leaf organs in order to collect more resources devoted to reproduction.
