| Veterans today are coming home from deployments and face a world where social media are beginning to replace human interaction. So much of what was witnessed in combat follows service members home and is constantly shown on social media from pages meant to help veterans to ISIS trying to attract recruits. This constant stream of military posts begins to wear at service members and decreases their ability to move on and separate themselves from the military. Studies that focus on veterans and their thoughts about the use of social media are beneficial to understanding the wide scope of problems veterans face today and what society can do to help. |
