| This dissertation develops and defends a conventionalist theory of logic against the backdrop of unrestricted metasemantic inferentialism. This theory is used to provide a naturalistically acceptable epistemology for logic. In the course of the dissertation, the nature of the conventionalist thesis is clarified and conventionalism is defended against various objections that have been raised in the literature. |
