A Study On Chu Ci Research In Modern Times

The study of Chu-ci From from Daoguang dynasty to May Fourth Movement is based on the monographs and its authors' experiences.This article,through gathering the materials on the background of the evolution of academic evolution in that times,adopts the method of combining text read and empirical research of literature information,and draws the outline of the research contents,methods and the causes of Chu-ci at that times,analyzes its general characteristic,the achievement and historical limitations,and then detects the research history in the modern times about Chu-ci of promotion and influence.The paper is divided into seven chapters,each category first outlines the general appearance,and then selects the representative scholars to conduct a case study.The exegesis of the name,character of a thing and the historical facts textual research reflect the afterthoughts of Hanxue of the Qianjia Times.Such writings adhere to the philosophy and research methods of traditional park science,and focus on textual research on Chu-ci.Yu yue researched on the name of Chu-ci by the method of relying on the sound and shape to understand the meaning of the word in "Read the song of chu","The name of the people of chu-ci".Sun Yirang understood the meaning of words by documentary and reasoning in his "Zang yi" volume xii "Chu-ci noted by Wangyi ".Wang Shunan's "Li SAO",by citing books widely,interpretate the meaning of the word.Some works on Chu-ci carried on the ancient methods of correcting pronunciation and rhyme,and the meaning of dialect,on the other hand,applied a new rhymes.Li qiao's “Qu song dialect criticisms and explanations " interprets the meaning of the sound of Chu-ci from the angle of dialect,and traces back to the origin of dialect,which embodies the distinctive characteristics of the times.The article,on the basis on the structure of the text and the meaning of the words,pays attention to the micro meaning and the poet's emotion.Yan ximing's "Qu sao qiu zhi",by dividing "Li sao " into five volumns,equal to thirty-one small sections,grasps the structure of Chu-ci,the order of the research chapters,furthermore,express Qu yuan's loyalty to the monarch and striving for a powerful country.Fu xiong xiang's "Li sao zhang yi" divided "li SAO" into nine chapters,which also is 22 sections,and refuted the way of drawing wrong conclusions by false analogy to Chu-ci,strive to obtain the clear logic and the smooth expression.Bi dachen divided the Nine songs of Li sao is divided into 14 sections,which is to explore the spirit world of Qu yuan through analying of the background of creation and the purpose of creation.The article“Li sao fen duan yue shuo”,writed by Huang entong,is divided into 17 paragraphs,and analyze the image and frequency of "seeking female",and the image of "Mi fei" and "the beginning of retreat".The comment about Chu ci focuses on the excavation of the feeling of “generosity and desolation”,and the relationship between the Shi jing and Chu ci,the artistic characteristics,the influence and the stylistic analysis,etc.This paper “Zhao mei zhan yan” explores the cultural and historical reasons of Chu ci and puts it into the category of Confucian poetics.Chen tingzhuo's "The words of Bai yuzhai" advocated the word as the subject,which is called “Chen yu shuo”,and judged the works by the standard of Shisao.Liu xizai's "Yi gai" analyzes the style of Chiu-ci and analyzes the characteristics of language,sentence structure,and artistic conception.etc.Under the influence of the "Gong yang" school,Chu's writings reflect the thought of showing practicality and questioning ancient arguments,although they have been uncorrected,they are the prelude to the reform of the research method of seeked remittance between exegesis and literary criticism.The background of Chu Ci writings accept Western culture with an open mind and integrate modern factors into the cultural tradition of the nation.It embodies the academic transformation of the study of Chu Ci from traditional to modern.Liang Qichao researched works and compilation process and analysed the cultural meaning and aesthetic value of Chu Ci.He investigated the origin and main calendar of Qu Yuan's thought,and affirmed the spirit of Qu Yuan's struggle for "independence and not moving".Wang Guowei furtherly developed the theory of Liang Qichao and Liu Shipei,and generalized Qu Yuan's spirit of struggle as “Ou Mu Ya”.Liu Shipei researched the literary perspective on the establishment of "Zong Sao",and cited the theory of Western literature to explain Chu Ci.In summary,Chu Ci study in modern timespasses through three phases such as inheriting traditions,summary comprehensively,and seeks new changes,realizing the real innovation of research methods and research perspectives.It realizes the transformation of Chu rhetoric from ancient to modern,and it is of great significance in the history of the study of Chu Ci.
