Abstract/Summary:
In 1989, the Korean Tyrannus Team, with Taiwan's Hosanna Ministries, initiated a series of Worship and Praise activities, which brought forth a movement of renewal in Taiwan. Unbelievers were astounded by God's wonderful deeds, and believers were re-awakened, with many dedicating themselves as missionaries in the Kingdom of God.; Under such impact, this thesis results from a study of Biblical worship and praise and their crucial role in God's mission. Analysis of the contextualization of worship and praise within Taiwanese culture is also emphasized. It includes literature review, related to the importance of worship and praise in church growth and spiritual warfare. Dynamics that pertain to mission are the main focus. The aim of the thesis is to impress on observers the burden for making Taiwan a base for world mission to fulfill God's Great Commission, "Go and make disciples of all nations."...
