| Giving students zero credit for missed assignments does not allow teachers to see what students really know or provide them feedback needed to grasp the concepts and feel successful. The purpose of this action research project was to address this issue and the goal was to reduce the number of students with late and missing assignments. This study sought to create a procedure: communication with students and parents on missing assignments, extra support for students to complete late assignments and up to 70% credit to students for late work. |
