Redistribution of blood during exercise is impaired in paraplegics. To this end, the effect of pulsatile lower body positive pressure (pLBPP) on submaximal and peak cardiovascular function was tested. Subjects were 8 endurance trained (TP) and 10 untrained (UP) with complete lesions (T6-T12). Controls were 12 sedentary able-bodied subjects (SAB).
