| Modern day computing has evolved a lot during the past few recent years. Demand for faster and more versatile computing has changed the way computers are used. Tablet PCs and handheld devices are more prominent in the market than traditional computing environments. Applications are hosted on the web, and similarly, usage based services too. This thesis concentrates on bringing the virtual computing to a new level by implementing a hybrid architecture which combines grid and cloud technologies.;This architecture clears the issues of speed as it is also connected on the grid. This will supplement the need for on demand desktop solutions, thus making it a unique solution as it also contains the grid architecture. |
