| Advances in software technology from 1990 to present day have given software developers and users new features and performance enhancement. The assurance of the quality of software programs written since this new technology has presented new challenges and opportunities. The assurance of component-based software requires a new thinking and new techniques in the assurance of the delivered product.; In this thesis, a plan is developed to assure delivered software products written, use the component-model paradigm. A methodology is also developed; software solutions are proposed for the testing and quality assurance.; The conclusions will support a new approach to the assurance of component-based software quality assurance, using methodologies described in this thesis. |
