Research On Software Quality Assurance And Implementation Of Assistant Tool

With the rapid development and the increasingly widespread application of information technology, the software becomes more and more important. Also, because of the increasing size and the complexity of software, the software quality has become difficult to control and manage. Improving the quality of software has become the focus of software industry. Software quality assurance becomes an important approach for improving software quality, which provides developers and managers with the information reflecting the product quality through monitoring the execution of software producing task by independent review.First, this thesis analyzes software quality, software quality assurance, CMMI model and the software measurement. Then, it sets the SQA related work to the main clue, followed by the analysis of the software quality assurance plan, review and audit during project developing phases, the project's routine inspections, configuration audit and the management of non-compliance, which make SQA to create the checklist for review easier. Finally, this thesis makes measurement on the quality and NC data produced by project activities, which can identify the problems that exist in the work and improve relevant software quality assurance activities.On the basis of the theory, a software quality assurance assistant tool, namely SQAATool, is designed and implemented using the open source techniques, SQAATool provides the templates for the checklist, which helps SQA reduce actual effort. It also provides management mechanism for the NC, which helps SQA track the NC. At the same time, it provides data measurement for the NC and displays the results in the form of graph, which is beneficial to improving quality assurance activities.
