Recently, attention has been paid to data encryption techniques for lossless transmission and recovery of digital information. Securing digital information, such as images in a network like the Internet, is important because of attacks from hackers. Cryptography and watermarking are the methods used to transmit a confidential image in a network. This project presents an image encryption technique to embed the data using Reversible Data Hiding with the least significant bits transformation. Reversible Data Hiding is also used to recover the original image after extraction of the embedded data or message has occurred. With the least significant bits transformation, we calculated peak signal-to-noise ratio values for the given image. Experimental results also demonstrate that the proposed scheme can provide greater peak signal-to-noise ratios, such as 60 dB. |
