| Currently, the Lean philosophy has been adapted and expanded to other fields beyond manufacturing; as it has proven to be an effective and versatile tool in any of them. This research has the purpose of creating a guide for the application of Lean in Small Business in direct services. This research attempts to shift the focus of large-scale that characterizes Lean. Demonstrate how it can be implemented effectively and successfully in businesses or companies in Puerto Rico; that are known as Small Businesses.;Proper use of this guide ensures loyalty and customer satisfaction. Therefore, by applying the Lean philosophy; that is, the philosophy of quality with improved and more productive processes, satisfied customer needs and financial, human and material resources are better utilized. It also enables a business to improve its competitive position in the market and thus can take advantage of it. |
