Organic thin film transistors: Spice model parameter extraction for integrated circuit design

Abstract/Summary:
We developed an AIM-Spice model for Organic Thin Film Transistor (OTFT) circuit simulation based on amorphous-silicon approach. The OTFT developed in this research is made using P3HT (poly-3-hexylthiophene) and is fabricated by using photolithography and spin coating process. The P3HT OTFT is tested by source meters which are controlled by Labview to get drain/source current vs. drain/source voltage curve and drain/source current vs. gate/source voltage curve. These results are used in the model parameters calculation by fitting the parameters to the behavior of our polymer device.
