Abstract/Summary:
The purpose of this project was to prepare and evaluate a Guide for parents. This Guide helps parents to know how to use the computer and Internet to help their children in mathematics.; The Guide incorporates introductory aspects of the use of the computer and Internet. It provides links and descriptions of mathematics websites as well as various math topics, skills and activities that are available online, which parents can use to help in the education of their children.; It also serves as a handbook for parents. It is a convenient starting point for parents embarking on home study for their children from grades six through twelve.; After using the Guide, ten parents completed the final evaluation survey. A detailed analysis of the survey results revealed a positive impact for both the families and their children. The survey results will be used to improve future editions of this Parent Guide.
