Under the background of fast economic development,Chinese foundry companies are facing more and more market Competition in the market.First of all,with the appear of the new wave of mass entrepreneurship and innovation,firms begin to devote themselves to creating famous brand enterprises and products,and vigorously develop innovation to improve their competitiveness.The second,China foundry industry is initially rely on cheap labor cost to take profits,with the increase of labor cost,however,this advantage will be weakened,so companies need to advanced management methods to gain a competitive edge,lean production theory as the can provide enterprises with more opportunities of advanced management method,has entered people’s field of vision.L Company is a traditional casting enterprise.The production mode is semi-mechanized production,and the product production output is low,which cannot meet the supply demand.Therefore,the enterprises usually work overtime or increase the inventory output near the delivery time.How to improve the existing production line without adding the production line is the problem that the enterprise needs to solve now.This paper is based on the analysis of this problem.Class D products are one of the most produced products of L company,so the study of Class D products was carried out.The lean production theory and tools were used to analyze and study the production line flow of Class D products,formulate the plan of production line process optimization,and compare the optimization effect.In the study,it was found that there were imbalance of production line,overstock of products in process,low production efficiency of front-line personnel and disordered management of production site in the production process of Category D products.In order to improve the production efficiency and benefits of Class D products,this paper studies the optimization of production line flow for Class D products based on lean production theory,optimizes the problems of unbalanced production line,overstocked products in process,and high functionary turnover rate in class D product production line,and applies 5S field management to carry out scene optimization.The main highlight of this paper is to apply the lean production theory to concrete examples to optimize the production line flow of Class D products.By D products asthe main research target to optimize production process and can be done with all the products for the enterprise production process optimization to provide reliable data and practical experience,also for other manufacturing will lean production applied to the practice of specific provide valuable practical experience,but also to improve in lean production applied to the specific instance.
