With the new middle class in the 80 s and 90 s becoming the mainstream power of the consumer population,the major pure e-commerce platforms are facing bottlenecks in performance growth,and the country has repeatedly issued policies and guidance documents to encourage the use of technological upgrades and the integration of online and offline markets for new retail With the development of the model,major enterprises have begun to explore new retail.It has been three years since the new retail model was first proposed.Some new retail transformation problems have slowly emerged in the batch of companies that were initially transformed and reflected in the performance data,and have a major impact on the operation of some companies.Yonghui Supermarket It is such a typical enterprise.This article selects Yonghui Supermarket as a case,uses SWOT model to analyze the internal and external environmental conditions during the transformation of Yonghui Supermarket,uses the event research method to analyze the financial performance and market performance of Yonghui Supermarket,and finds out that Yonghui Supermarket is based on performance changes.Issues at the level of financial and business decisions.Through its analysis,it was found that after the transformation,profitability such as operating gross profit margin remained stable but far below the industry average,inventory turnover decreased,and overall solvency deteriorated,and these results are very different from the expectations predicted by combining new retail characteristics..In view of these financial indicators that are highly related to the new retail model but not expected,we will further explore the four major aspects of Yonghui Supermarket’s fund management,inventory management,operation management,and human resource management,and finally give practical reference opinions.It is hoped that through the case study of Yonghui Supermarket,it can provide a reference for other companies in the same industry to choose whether to transform the new retail model and how to make business and financial decisions during the transformation.
