In recent decades,major changes in manufacturing-driven globalization have occurred,and the service industry is likely to promote globalization in a way that surpasses manufacturing.Economic globalization driven by trade in human skills,knowledge,and originality is moving towards Before development.If a country can produce and export efficient,cheap and innovative services,this ability,once it is available,will be a key factor in achieving highquality development.Facing new trends in the development of global service trade and new requirements to promote high-quality economic development,we will further accelerate the development of service trade,cultivate new advantages in international competition for our country,move from a major trading country to a strong trading country,and continue to improve our position in the global value chain.This article selects the WTO 's service trade data set(TiSMoS)based on the cross-border unilateral service trade panel data of 97 countries / regions,and summarizes the current development status and competitiveness of service trade countries through theoretical analysis and international comparative analysis.Empirical analysis of the factors affecting the international competitiveness of service trade.The results show that commercial presence is the main mode of global service trade.China's service trade competitiveness already has certain advantages in Asia,but there is still a gap with developed economies,and there is a problem with the imbalance of the service trade export structure.Technological progress,foreign direct investment,goods trade competitiveness,human capital,and Internet infrastructure all have a significant role in promoting the international competitiveness of services trade.The expansion of foreign direct investment will significantly promote the export competitiveness of service trade under the mode of commercial presence.At the same time,for developing countries,human capital and technological innovation,and Internet infrastructure are more critical.For the service delivery model in the presence of business,increasing foreign direct investment in knowledge-intensive industries is essential.For developed countries,free trade policies have made them more beneficial in trade in services.This article focuses on the competitiveness of services trade,uses a more comprehensive and accurate database,explores the differences in the influencing factors of services trade competitiveness under different modes of provision,and proposes more detailed relevant policy recommendations.
