| In recent years,China’s rural tourism has grown rapidly,benifiting from the rapid development of tourism.While tourism has a huge positive impact on the countryside,it has also brought a series of negative impacts on destinations.Local residents are one of the important stakeholders in the development of tourism.On the one hand,residents’ perception of tourism impact can reflect the impact of tourism activities on tourism destinations to some extent.On the other hand,residents’ perception of tourism impact also derives residents’ attitudes and follow-up behaviors on tourism,which is vital to development of tourism.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to reserch residents’ perception of tourism impact.Place attachment is a deep emotional connection between people and place,and it is one of the factors that affect residents’ perception of tourism impact.Different levels of place attachments will lead to different residents’ perception of the economic,sociocultural and environmental impacts.Research on residents’ perception of tourism impact based on local attachments is of significance for enhancing residents’ perception of tourism revenue,enhancing residents ’tourism support,and promoting the development of tourism.This study takes yingtan village,belonging to xingtai city,hebei province,as the research object.Combined with the research background at home and abroad,relying on related theories such as Tourist Area Cycle of Evolution,Social Exchange Theory,and Tourism Sustainable Development Theory,and based on field investigations,this study investigates the perception of local residents’ tourism impact,including perception of economic impact,sociocultural impact and environmental impact.By using SPSS26.0 software,this study is conduced descriptive statistical analysis,factor analysis,cluster analysis,correlation analysis,regression analysis and so on.By studying the overall situation of residents’ perception of tourism impact in Yingtan Village,analyzing the differences in tourism impact perception among residents of different types of attachment,and exploring the impact of local attachment on tourism impact perception,this study understands the impact of tourism activities and analyzes the tourism existing problems.The conclusions of the study are as follows.The residents of Yingtan Village have a strong perception of the impact of tourism.The development of tourism has brought obvious comprehensive benefits to Yingtan Village.Among the positive effects brought by the tourism,the residents of Yingtan Village had a significantly higher perception of sociocultural impacts than the economic and environmental impacts.Among the negative effects brought by tourism,the residents of Yingtan Village had a clear perception of the environmental effects higher than economic and sociocultural impact perception.Based on the differences of place attachment,residents of Yingtan Village can be divided into four types:loving life type,emotional identity type,functional orientation type and tired of place type.There are differences in tourism impact perceptions among residents of different types of place attachment.Place attachment is one of the influential factor in the perception of tourism impact of residents in Yingtan Village.Based on the research conclusions,this article puts forward suggestions for promoting the tourism development of Yingtan Village,including paying attention to residents’ perceptions,monitoring tourism impacts,ensuring residents’ economic returns,raising their incomes,protecting Yingtan culture,promoting cultural and tourism integration,strengthening environmental management,protecting local ecology,focusing on residents’ place attachment,building a good relationship between people and place. |
