Facilitation is a hot topic that is highly valued in the construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative. The “Belt and Road” initiative not only provides opportunities for China's own resource allocation and economic development, but also provides a new development method for trade development among countries along the “Belt and Road”.This paper selects panel data of 52 countries along the “Belt and Road” from2013 to 2018,and uses the extended gravity model to empirically analyze the impact of the trade facilitation level of the countries along the “Belt and Road” on China's export trade and the development of the countries along the “Belt and Road”.Has certain practical significance. In this paper,by sorting out the relevant documents of the “Belt and Road” and trade facilitation, and combining with the actual development of the countries along the “Belt and Road”,6 primary indicators and 20 secondary indicators for the level of trade facilitation have been determined.Use the principal component analysis method to construct a complete set of trade facilitation indicator systems.Using the “Global Competitiveness Report” and “World Logistics Performance Index” to measure the level of trade facilitation in 52 countries along the "Belt and Road" from 2013 to 2018,it is found that there is a large level of trade facilitation between countries and regions Gap,which is not conducive to coordinated development between countries. In terms of empirical analysis, trade facilitation was introduced into the extended gravity model as one of the explanatory variables of export trade flows, and then regression analysis was performed on the panel data of 52 countries along the “Belt and Road” from 2013 to 2018.The gross domestic product, the population of trading partner countries, and the real exchange rate of the RMB of direct pricing method have a positive effect on exports.China's population, the distance between the two economic centers, and tariffs are not conducive to the increase in export trade flows.Among them, the level of trade facilitation of the countries along the “Belt and Road”has a significant role in promoting China's export trade. In order to clarify the impact of each level of trade facilitation indicators on China's export trade, the first level indicators of trade facilitation are sequentially included in the extended gravity model for regression analysis. The results show that e-commerce,financial services, infrastructure quality, logistics level, customs. The environment and regulatory system have gradually reduced the role of China's export promotion.Cluster analysis is used to classify the “Belt and Road” countries into three categories.Based on thisclassification, empirical analysis proves that there are heterogeneity in the impact of different levels of trade facilitation on the countries along the “Belt and Road” on China 's exports.Based on the results of empirical analysis, finally put forward specific and implementable suggestions for the construction of trade facilitation in the countries along the “Belt and Road”.The construction of countries along the “Belt and Road”needs to further strengthen interconnection and improve the high-quality development of modern financial services. For countries with relatively weak economic strength, infrastructure construction should be strengthened to make logistics services develop in the direction of digitization and information. The overall improvement of the trade facilitation level of the countries along the “Belt and Road” has played an important role in promoting economic and trade cooperation among countries, thereby achieving win-win cooperation and regional coordinated development of the countries along the“Belt and Road”.
