| Under the new urban development logic of "urbans prosper people,people prosper industry",the "innovative neighbourhoods" adjacent to the urban area and complete infrastructure are becoming an important driving force for the new round of urban development.In the construction of innovation-led innovation districts,"placemaking" has become an important way to promote the district to attract innovative talents,promote the generation of knowledge,gather innovation activities,and enhance the innovation vitality of districts.The mechanism of creating a place that promotes the innovation vitality of the innovation district has become an important research topic.This article first builds an analytical framework for the construction of innovation districts based on a review of relevant literature on the creative energies of innovation districts and the creation of their locations,and the related theoretical foundations of industrial cluster theory,new economic geography,evolutionary economic geography,and social network theory.The corresponding index system was constructed,and the principal factors analysis,multiple linear regression analysis,and multiple ordered logistic regression analysis were used to explore the factors that created the innovation of the innovative districts.The empirical analysis was carried out in Shanghai.During the empirical analysis in Shanghai,we used more than 50,000 pieces of data on the “Invention Publication” of Shanghai throughout the year of the “Chinese Patent Publication Announcement of the State Intellectual Property Office” throughout the year.The detailed address of the patent application was based on the “WGS84 coordinate system”.The address was converted into latitude and longitude,QGIS software was used to generate a heat map of the distribution area of Shanghai’s innovation vitality,and the area with the highest innovation vitality was combined with the concept of “New Urbanism” and Shanghai’s “15-minute community life circle” to select 36 2km * 2km innovation district units.,Covering more than 20,000 patent applications;further,using Python software combined with Gaode POI information to obtain nearly 80,000 related places(Bus stations,catering services,shopping markets,health care,residential facilities,basic education,sports and leisure,scenic spots,intersections,colleges and universities,corporate companies,etc.)in the 36 innovation districts,the three hypothetical questions in this article were verified.Research shows that Shanghai’s innovation districts are mainly divided into three categories: college-led,park-dominated,and enterprise-dominated;the innovation vitality and place creation of innovative districts are significantly related to their types,and the innovation of college-led innovative districts The vitality and the establishment of the place are significantly higher,the park-dominated type is the second,and the enterprise-dominated type is the lowest;the type of innovation district is controlled,and the research funding and the number of subdivision sites in its administrative area will have a significant positive impact on its innovation vitality;Innovative and dynamic innovation districts,the proportion of GDP in the R & D expenditure of the administrative district and the number of catering service-related places in the innovation district will have a significant positive effect on the innovation vitality of the innovation district.Therefore,this article suggests that based on the needs of field investigations,we can further improve the status of related places within universities and parks;we can increase the innovation district “the proportion of GDP in R & D expenditure in the administrative district” or “food services in the innovation district” based on actual conditions.The number of relevant places ",with a view to further enhance the innovation vitality of the innovation district. |
