China's economy has entered the "new normal" of growth and shifting.Innovation and industrial upgrading have become the main driving factors of economic growth.The problems of uneven development of various industries,irrational industrial structure caused by inadequate industry,and low-end industrial structure have gradually become prominent.Therefore,industrial upgrading has become a key content of China's economic transformation.Promoting the upgrading of the industrial structure is not only a strategic goal of the "13th Five-Year Plan",but also an important challenge facing my country's comprehensive economic competitiveness.In order to promote the transformation and upgrading of industries,the current Chinese government has identified high-quality development as the development goal and the guiding goal of formulating economic policies.The company's brand value is a strong support for promoting high-quality economic development.The country also places brand economy building at a strategic level.To further promote brand economy building,on April 24,2017,the State Council officially approved May 10 as a Chinese brand.Japan,clearly stated that brand economy building is an important task of supply-side reform in the new era.Therefore,in the current situation,it is of great significance to study the impact of brand economy building on industrial upgrading to promote the successful transformation and sustained growth of my country's economy.At present,there are many literatures on industrial upgrading,but the literatures on empirical research on industrial upgrading from the perspective of brand economy building are rare,and most of the literature on brand economy building is concentrated on the micro level and the macro theoretical level.Few literatures include brand economy building in the macro quantitative perspective.The relationship between brand economy building and industrial upgrading.This paper draws on the existing research theories and practices at home and abroad,incorporates brand economy building into the research framework of industrial upgrading,and explores the role of brand economy building in promoting industrial upgrading.In addition,technological innovation is also the key to driving high-quality development,implementing the new development concept,and solving the current outstanding contradictions and problems in economic development.It is also an important starting point for accelerating the transformation of development methods,optimizing the economic structure,and converting old and new kinetic energy.China's current and future economic development The main driving force of development is technological innovation,and the continuous innovation investment of an enterprise as an important innovation subject depends on its conversion of innovation investment into market value.brand economy building provides an effective means for achieving this goal.Therefore,in order to highlight the value of innovation input conversion of brand economy building,in this further study,brand economy building is used as the intermediary variable of innovation,to study the role of brand important channel conversion.This article takes 31 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities as the research object,and mainly examines the role of brand economy building in promoting industrial upgrading.This article first discusses the impact mechanism of brand economy building on industrial upgrading.Based on the analysis and analysis of the history and process of China's brand economy construction,the process of industrial upgrading in China,the relationship between brand economy construction and industrial upgrading,the use of empirical analysis methods to test brand economy building The promotion effect of industrial upgrading,and further research on the role of brand economy building in promoting the innovation of the mediating industry.This paper measures industrial upgrading from the advanced industrial structure and the rationalization of industrial structure.Combining relevant literature and the research content of this article,the provincial-level technical complexity and the Theil index are used to represent the advanced industrial structure and the rationalization of industrial structure,respectively,measured by brand value.brand economy building situation,using the balanced panel data of each province,autonomous region and municipality from 2003 to 2017,to conduct an empirical test on the impact of brand economy building on industrial industrial upgrading may differ depending on the level of economic development and the socio-economic environment,a regional analysis of brand economy building to promote industrial upgrading is results was tested.The main conclusions of the paper are as follows: brand economy building has a positive role in promoting industrial upgrading.As an important form of its impact on industrial upgrading,brand economy building has an innovative intermediary function,which is an important bridge to strengthen the transformation of technological innovation into industrial upgrading.The strength of the role of brand economy building in promoting industrial upgrading is affected by the external environment.In the eastern and central regions,as in the national level,brand economy building can effectively promote industrial upgrading,but in the western region,it is different.The impact of brand economy building on industrial upgrading Not obvious.
