| By the end of 2006,the five year transition period of China’s banking industry has ended,and many foreign banks have formally entered the Chinese market.As an important part of our modern financial industry,the current market pattern has made it compelled to face the competition from other domestic joint-stock banks and foreign banks.For the commercial banks in the period of financial reform,it is necessary to carry out the performance appraisal system through the multidimensional setting of the key performance indicators to improve the core competitiveness so as to realize the strategic goals of the commercial banks.This article,based on the related concepts and theories of KPI and human resources assessment,takes the performance appraisal system of Bank of China DY Branch as the research object,excavate and explain the problems existing in the whole staff performance evaluation system design and performance management process,and put forward the necessity to change the performance appraisal system.The choice of improvement method of performance appraisal system of Bank of China DY Branch,the ideas,principles and steps of the design,then combined with the strategic target of the branch and the operating budget index,and using the key performance index(KPI)to determine the KPI assessment of the four dimensions of financial dimension,customer dimension,internal control and compliance and learning growth.The reappraisal system of financial manager post was redesigned,and the KPI performance appraisal system and target value of financial manager were determined.Finally,from the aspects of system,technology and personnel,it puts forward the safeguard measures for improving the performance appraisal system of financial manager of Bank of China DY Branch.Through the combination of theoretical research and case analysis,this paper applies the KPI performance appraisal system to commercial banks,further enriches the performance appraisal theory of commercial banks,analyzes the practical application of the KPI performance appraisal system,and provides a set of effective methods for the improvement and strategy development of the performance evaluation system of commercial banks. |
