As the content of BCIM economic corridor cooperation,transport infrastructure construction and improvement of connectivity level are the framework and carrier for allocation and exchange of resources,labor,capital,information technology,etc.of all countries,and the material basis for cross-border sub regional cooperation.At present,the research on the traffic interconnection of BCIM economic corridor mainly focuses on qualitative research,but there is no quantitative research and Analysis on the traffic network of the whole corridor.In order to explore the distribution and pattern characteristics of the corridor traffic network,this paper selects the road,railway,aviation and other traffic networks in the region as the research object,based on the GIS data processing and spatial analysis function,constructs the traffic network analysis system,analyzes the characteristics of the corridor traffic network pattern from the network density,coverage,accessibility,connectivity and other aspects,and aims at the corridor times According to the demand of regional cooperation for transportation network,the corresponding promotion strategies of transportation network are put forward.The research shows that the roads and railways in the western part of the BCIM economic corridor(India and Bangladesh)are densely distributed,the transportation system between the important cities is relatively complete,and the connectivity is good;the road network in the central part(Myanmar)is in the state of "inward" aggregation,with poor connectivity to the outside,and the railway network is not connected with other areas of the corridor,which is in the state of "blocking" and integrity The interconnection degree of each traffic network system is weak.The road network in the eastern region(Yunnan,China)is well distributed.Except for the few cities covered by the railway network,other traffic interconnections are in good condition.The pipeline transportation and water transportation are greatly affected by the traffic situation in Myanmar.At this stage,the distribution and accessibility of the transportation network of BCIM economic corridor is temporarily insufficient to meet the needs of reality,andcross-border sub regional cooperation of the corridor is facing a huge dilemma due to the joint influence of many factors such as lack of political mutual trust,obvious economic development gap between countries,regional situation turbulence,etc.In this context,combined with the characteristics of the corridor traffic network pattern,it is proposed that all countries should strengthen exchanges and cooperation,use innovative financing methods,give full play to the leading and demonstration role of China Myanmar "herringbone" economic corridor,and build a three-dimensional and interconnected modern traffic network,so as to improve and upgrade the current situation of the traffic network of BCIM economic corridor.
