As a significant grasp on China’s One Belt One Road Initiative,BCIM Economic Corridor has promoted the communication among southwest China,Northeast India,Burma,as well as Bangladesh.From a practical point of view,however,the promotion of BCIM Economic Corridor itself has been in a dilemma.This thesis is thus to analyze,in the perspective of both China and India,the status quo of the construction of BCIM Economic Corridor,not without the exploration of the cause of the dilemma,by empirical-historical method and with special attention to shared ideas.Besides,the thesis chooses the Ancient Tea Horse Road,which was once historically brisk in the region,as an example of practice to unveil the shared ideas that prompt the construction of BCIM Economic Corridor by illustrating the reason and effect of the boom of ATHR.The utmost purpose of the research is to put forward policy suggestions for activate BCIM Economic Corridor.The article also analyzes the Project Mausam and the Act Look East policy,which are the most important pillars of India’s foreign affairs,aim to find out that the absence of sharing ideas between China and India is the main reason for India’s strategy.It is believed in the thesis that there has been great commercial potentials and cooperative opportunities in the region,especially so in the perspective of China and India.The very cause of the present dilemma lies in the want of shared ideas,rendered mostly by the diplomatic strategy thoughts of India that have been rooted in India’s historical experience.The key to solve the problem is the construction of shared ideas between the two nations where the brisk of the Ancient Tea Horse Road serves as a beneficial reference. |
